  1. Idle master ban 2018, Can you get banned from Steam for using Idle Master in 2022? I was using it and someone told me you can get banned for using it. Idle Master simply starts and ends a program and is not manipulating the file, nothing that would trigger a VAC ban. Its the same as manually starting a game and just letting it run. That is all. It does not hook into any running game process or memory. It does not interfere with the game running process at all, it just sends the information to Steam that a game is running. VAC never comes into play so it doesn't matter. There is no way for it to trigger a VAC ban. These idle programs don't actually run the game. What it however doesn't allow is sharing accounts with other people, but we're not doing that here.
